ÉVOLUTION DE LA SENSIBILITÉ AU CONTRASTE DANS L'AMBLYOPIE STRABIQUE ET/OU PAR
ANISOMÉTROPIE

Résumé : Le VISTECH est un des tests permettant de mesurer la sensibilité aux
contrastes non colorés, en présentant au sujet des cercles striés de bandes
alternativement claires et sombres, dont on fait varier deux paramètres : la fréquence
spatiale, ou largeur des bandes, et le contraste.
On obtient une courbe dont l'aspect présente un double intérêt dans l'amblyopie
fonctionnelle strabique :
- Diagnostique : par son aspect, on peut écarter une atteinte du nerf optique;
- Thérapeutique : pour surveiller l'apparition d'une rechute, ou d'une amblyopie à
bascule.

Summary : The VITESGH is one of the test measuring the non colored contrasts
sensitivity, by presenting to a subject cercles, stripped in black and white. Two
parameters are changing : the spatial frequency, or the width of the bands, and the
contrast.
The result are reported on a graphic which one present a double interest in the strabic
amblyopia :
- Diagnostic : the shape is very different from the one of the optic nerve disease;
- Therapeutic : to detect the advent of an amblyopia on the treated eyes, or the other one
