Résumé : Le cornéotopographe est un instrument électro-optique
capable de mesurer la forme de la cornée et de faire une analyse détaillée de la
surface cornéenne.
Devant le développement de la chirurgie réfractive, le dépistage du kératocône fruste
par un examen de la cornée au vidéotopographe doit devenir systématique avant toute
opération. L'orthoptiste doit y être prêt, pour travailler en collaboration avec
l'ophtalmologiste.

Summary : The corneal topographer is an electro-optical instrument
which is capable of measuring the shape of the cornea in fine detail and then making a
fully detailed analysis of the corneal shape.
Facing the increase of refractive surgery, the early keratoconus screening should be done
before any surgical operation. The orthoptist has to be ready for it, to cooperate with
the ophtalmologist.
