Résumé : La fatigue visuelle est étudiée dans deux populations d'enfants d'ages différents, respectivement en classes maternelles et primaires.
La vision binoculaire constitue le critère essentiel quant à la fatigue visuelle. Les sujets ayant une vision binoculaire normale au départ ne présentent aucune modification. Par contre, ceux qui ont des troubles latents subissent souvent une aggravation. Ces modifications observées augmentation ou décompensation se révèlent plus importantes chez les enfants les plus jeunes (5 à 6 ans).

Summary : Eye strain is studied in two population samples of children of different ages in infant school and in primary classes respectively. Binocular vision constitutes the essentiel criteria with regards to eye strain. Those subjects with normal binocular vision from the start experience no change. However, those with latent troubles often present an aggravation of the symptoms. With these observed changes, augmentation or decompensation becomes more important for the younger children (5 to 6 yeard old).
