ÉTUDE COMPARATIVE DES STEREOTESTS CHEZ LES ENFANTS: T.N.O., R.D.E., WIRT, FRISBY

Résumé : Les auteurs ont étudié la vision stéréoscopique de 46 enfants normaux de deux à neuf ans avec quatre tests différents. Le test de Frisby leur a semblé le meilleur test pour les enfants à condition qu'il soit correctement présenté :
- immobilité du test et de la tête du patient,
- perpendicularité du test à la direction du regard,
- distance correctement mesurée.

Summary : The authors have studied the stereoscopic vision in 46 normal children aged two to nine years old four different tests were presented. The Frisby test seemed to be the most valuable for children, assuming it was correctly presented :
- the head of the patient as well as the test must be motionless,
- the test must be perpendicular to the direction of gaze,
- the distance between the patient and the test must be correctly measured.
