Résumé : Étude des limites de la rééducation orthoptique sur 100 cas de
strabismes divergents simples.
L'âge du sujet, une neutralisation trop profonde, une déviation importante sont les
principaux obstacles à la rééducation. Celle-ci ne se conçoit pas sans un traitement
optique préalable. Elle peut être aidée ou remplacée par un traitement prismatique
et/ou par la chirurgie.

Summary : Study of the limits of orthoptic reeducation based on 100 cases of single
primary exotropia.
The age of the patient, a too much deep neutralisation, a strong deviation are the main
impediments to reeducation. This reeducation can't be concieved without a previous optical
treatment. It may be eased or replaced by a prismatic treatment or/and by surgery.
